Our state is full of incredible legends who do legendary things every day. In its children’s book, Land of Legends, St John WA shares 20 of the most captivating true stories from its staff and volunteers.You’re invited to join Deb Fitzpatrick, author of Land of Legends, for a story reading, workshop on how to conduct an interview, and a chance to interview a real paramedic! All attendees will have the opportunity to write their very own legendary story to share with St John at the end of the workshop. Two of the book's illustrators will compete in an illustration duel, illustrating the very story you will be writing about.
Make sure you stick around after the workshop to have your copy of Land of Legends signed by Deb Fitzpatrick.
The workshop runs from 10am to 11am. Author signing and book sales between 11am and 11:30am.
