LANDU Education Bootcamp: Land 101
(ask about the LEF scholarship)
What if you could walk into a land transaction with the confidence to understand the property, ask the right questions, and recognize opportunities that other agents miss?
The REALTORS® Land Institute Tennessee Chapter is bringing LANDU Education Bootcamp to Chattanooga this fall, and Land 101: Fundamentals of Land Brokerage is the perfect place to start.
October 15–16 | Chattanooga, Tennessee
Greater Chattanooga REALTORS®
Land 101 is one of the three Core Courses required toward the prestigious Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designation, but you do not have to be pursuing your ALC to take advantage of this course.
If you are a REALTOR® who wants to expand into land, better understand rural and recreational properties, or become a stronger advisor for clients buying and selling land, this course gives you the foundation to do it.
What will you learn?
Land 101 covers the fundamentals you need to confidently navigate land brokerage, including:
• Understanding the unique characteristics of land transactions
• Identifying the different types and uses of land
• Understanding land ownership, rights and restrictions
• Recognizing the factors that influence land value
• Navigating the complexities of land brokerage
• Understanding the role of the land professional in a transaction
• Learning how to better serve buyers and sellers of land
• Building a stronger foundation for specializing in land real estate
Land transactions can involve considerations that simply don't come up in a typical residential transaction. Access, water, timber, mineral rights, agricultural uses, conservation restrictions, zoning, development potential, easements and highest and best use can all dramatically affect a property's value and marketability.
Understanding those nuances makes you a better REALTOR®.
You DO NT have to be an RLI member.
RLI members and non-members are welcome.
You don't need to already specialize in land, and you don't need to have your ALC application ready to go. If you've ever thought, “I want to get into land, but I don't know where to start,” this is your opportunity.
And if you already sell land, Land 101 can help sharpen the fundamentals that make you more effective in the field.

Start your ALC education now. Decide later.
Your LANDU courses never expire, so you can take Land 101 now even if you're not ready to pursue the ALC designation.
Take the course, earn your education credit, put what you learn into practice, and keep the ALC path open for the future.
For Tennessee licensees, this is also an opportunity to make progress toward your continuing education requirements while investing in specialized knowledge that can directly benefit your business.
Make it a full Bootcamp experience.
You can cherry-pick the courses that fit your goals or come to
Chattanooga and complete all three ALC Core Courses during one Bootcamp:

We're also making this Bootcamp one to remember.
