Lancaster Pub Carols

Join us to.learn pub carols with harmony in the Gregson, Lancaster. These carols are often sing in pubs surrounding Sheffield, in folk clubs, and at events like the Dent Folk Carols Festival - different from the more Victorian carols often sung in churches. They include some secular carols, seasonal songs and mediaeval carols like the Boar's Head. There is also the opportunity to sing these carols alongside Lakeland Voices community choir, in the Gregson bar, at 6pm on Tuesday December 8.
Word booklets, recordings, and scores can be sent out in advance for home study.
To book - please send a Facebook message or email, to check there are spaces and to get bank details to pay in advance. Cost for day is £20. After the workshop we can sing the songs in the bar.
