LAN PARTY: oldschool video game rave
About this Event
✦ LAN PARTY !!!!!!!! ✦
a dance party / computer lab sleepover / rhythm game night in the seattle underground 💿💗
ever wanted to go back to being 14 and staying up way too late at your friend's house playing video games, drinking too much soda, and discovering nightcore on youtube? yeah, us too. ♡
we're turning asylum into a very gay, very chaotic little computer lab for a night of dancing, button mashing, glitchy visuals, and extremely questionable internet nostalgia. ⋆｡°✩
expect hyperpop, electro, bloghouse, nightcore, J-pop, video game music, club edits, and all the sounds of a 2008 computer having a nervous breakdown ♡
✦ WHAT'S HAPPENING ✦
♡ DDR for Wii + weird little games
♡ DJs playing hyperpop, nightcore, electro, bloghouse + more
♡ glitchy computer lab visuals
♡ a dance floor for the chronically online
♡ mixed drink specials
♡ nonalcoholic options, always!
✦ DRESS CODE ✦
hot girl LAN party, gamer girl, cyber café, computer lab crush, DDR champion, 2008 internet, scene kid, flip phone, USB necklace, corrupted file, webcam angel, or whatever you would've worn to impress your internet crush on myspace. ♡

please be gentle with the equipment, don't throw the wii remote, and be normal about people being good or bad at games. we're all just here to have fun and be a little embarrassing together. ♡
