Dive into the exciting world of bespoke lampshades, led by Kirsty from Monteith Brown Upholstery & Interiors, where you’ll create a beautiful, custom drum lampshade to brighten up your space.
Why Drum Lampshades? Drum lampshades are versatile and modern, perfect for adding a pop of colour or a unique touch to any room. They can fit various lamp bases or ceiling pendants and are relatively easy to make, making them great for both beginners and experienced crafters. It's also a great opportunity to make new friends, learn a new skill and take some time for you within a craft lover's delight - The Makers' House in Fareham.
What to Expect:
Hands-On Experience: You’ll get to work with a variety of tools and techniques to bring your vision to life.
Creativity Unleashed: Whether you prefer bold patterns or subtle textures, this is your chance to express your personal style.
Step-by-Step Guidance: You'll be guided you through each step, from choosing materials to the final assembly.
Lampshade making materials included: All you will need to bring is a piece of fabric minimum size 110cm wide x 35cm high or you can choose from our range of fabrics available to purchase at the workshop.
The workshop will last two and a half to three hours with refreshments available throughout the workshop. There is some standing involved so if you have any concerns about this, please get in touch for a chat.
