LaMP features Russ Lawton (Drums), Scott Metzger (Guitar) and Ray Paczkowski (Keys), in-demand masters from the likes of Trey Anastasio Band, Soule Monde, Joe Russo's Almost Dead, and more, coming together to create a power trio like you haven't heard before. They're wowing audiences with a fresh, so-tight-it's-free sound, combining technical prowess with undeniable energy. It's this chemistry that drives LaMP's latest studio album, One Of Us, arrived March 21 via Royal Potato Family. (Listen to lead single “Jasper's World [https://orcd.co/jaspersworld]”.) Their sophomore release is gritty, edgy, and full of attitude — the melodic and harmonic interplay of Paczkowski’s swirling organ and clavinet dancing with Metzger’s acrobatic melodies on telecaster, both driven by Lawton's unflappable backbeat.
