With over 34 years of dedication to Lambada and Brazilian Zouk, Gilson is a true pioneer of these iconic dances. He brought Lambada-Zouk to Argentina in 1991, where it quickly became one of the most beloved dance styles. His influence expanded through TV shows, performances with famous artists.
Gilson's passion for dance has led him to perform and teach worldwide, from Europe to South America, Asia, and beyond. As a respected member of the Lambada World Dance Council and Brazilian Zouk Dance Council, he’s a key figure in supporting and promoting Brazilian Zouk globally.
A captivating teacher known for his clear, precise technique, Gilson has inspired countless dancers. He’s collaborated with top international artists and continues to teach weekly in the Netherlands.
Whether you’re new to the dance or a seasoned pro, learning from Gilson means stepping into the heart of Brazilian Zouk and Lambada’s rich history.
⭐️JULISSA HERNANDEZ:
Julissa is a Washington D.C.-based Zouk dancer and instructor who's passionate about empowering others through movement.
A curious exploration led Julissa to Zouk in 2012, and she was captivated by its connection, creativity, and freedom.
With a foundation in classical ballet and modern dance (Alexander Horton technique), Julissa's Zouk style blends elegance, expression, and playfulness.
Through teaching and performing worldwide, Julissa inspires others to find their own voice and joy in dance.
