Lambada - 11-week Beginner Course in Amsterdam with Cynthia Kruissink & Gilson Damasco
Lambada is the dance that started it all.
Born on the Brazilian beaches in the 80s, this is where passion, fire and connection were turned into movement. Fast, sensual, rhythmic , Lambada grabs you and doesn't let go.
This August, for the first time, we're bringing a full beginner Lambada course to Amsterdam. Eleven weeks, from absolute zero to dancing with confidence, connection and fire.
This course is taught by Cynthia Kruissink, bringing the new generation of Lambada to the floor, together with Gilson Damasco, the living Lambada legend of the Netherlands who has carried this dance here for decades. Together they bridge the future and the roots of the dance. There is nowhere else in the country where you can learn Lambada like this 🙌

Who is this for?
Anyone who's curious! Beginners, improvers and Lambada revivers, you are all welcome.
No experience or partner needed (we rotate during class). You don't need to know anything about Lambada, Brazilian Zouk or any other dance. Just your excitement to learn and the willingness to show up 💛
Already dancing Brazilian Zouk, Kizomba, Salsa or Bachata? Even better. Lambada will make everything you already do feel richer, more grounded and more alive.

About the course
Every Thursday, 20:00 - 21:30.
The first hour is structured, progressive class building week on week. The last 30 minutes is social practica: practice, ask questions, and just dance 🌟
