Join Lhagsam’s celebration of the FPMT’s lineage holder Lama Tsongkhapa. This year is also very auspicious since Lama Tsongkhapa Day falls on the birthday of Lama Zopa Rinpoche, the founder of our organization. This event is a good opportunity to celebrate these precious teachers.

Ganden Ngamchoe, literally “Ganden Offering of the Twenty-Fifth Day,” or Lama Tsongkhapa Day, is a celebration of the anniversary of Lama Tsongkhapa’s parinirvana. It is celebrated on the twenty-fifth day of the tenth month of the Tibetan calendar.
During the evening, we’ll be reading from the Lhagsam Prayer Book, practice the Lama Tsongkhapa Guru Yoga and meditate on the ultimate reality, emptiness, eventually leading into a mahamudra practice.
