Lakewood Ranch Medical Center — Robotic Surgery Educational Program

General surgeon Samuel Yelverton, MD, invites you to attend a free educational program to learn how complex surgical procedures can be performed with more precision, control and flexibility by using the da Vinci Surgical System — a modern robot-assisted surgical approach useful in treating a variety of conditions ranging from hernias and colorectal cancer to weight loss surgery.
Dr. Yelverton is board certified in general surgery. He performs all aspects of general surgery, including minimally invasive and robotic surgery. He earned his medical degree at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, Miss. He completed his general surgery residency at the Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.
