We are excited to invite people from all around Lake Worth Beach to join us in building a stronger, more connected and caring community – based on living with kindness and concern for ones neighbors. Good neighbors make great neighborhoods.
Get to know your neighbors. Start by saying "Hello". Help your neighbor with yard work, hand write a note of appreciation, offer to run an errand, pick up litter, go for a walk around your neighborhood, invite neighbors over for a BBQ, or host a block party! Be the good neighbor – may where you live be better because of you.
It’s time for some neighborly love! Get together with your neighbor TODAY, take a picture and post on social with #LWBgoodneighborday and let everyone see what makes our community special.

Originally, National Good Neighbor Day was created in the early 1970s by Becky Mattson of Lakeside, Montana. In 1978. United States President Jimmy Carter issued Proclamation 4601. In 2003, National Good Neighbor Day was changed from the fourth Sunday in September to September 28.
The “Good Neighbor” Pledge
I pledge to be the “good neighbor.” With the goal of becoming a more connected and caring community, I will be a person who lives with kindness and concern for my neighbors.
