About this Event
Drug overdoses among people ages 15-24 are at an all-time high. Through education and awareness, we can work together to decrease that number. The Serenity House Student Awareness Program uniquely combines storytelling and evidence-based material, delivered by people with lived experience and we are thrilled to share this important messaging with the broader Lake Park High School community.
Please join us as we welcome Felicia Miceli and Jarrett Burton from Serenity House for our first Parent University on Wednesday, October 26th at 6:30pm at West Campus as they share an important message about how to navigate drug use, addictive behaviors, and mental health among teens.
Felicia Miceli is a Recovery Coach at Serenity House in Addison, as well as the founder of The LTM Foundation, which works to prevent Substance Use Disorder through awareness, education and support.
Jarrett Burton is a Recovery Coach at Serenity House and the Coordinator for The DuPage County Recovery Oriented System of Care. He is also a person in long term recovery from Substance Use Disorder.
