Join us for a visioning and informational session at the Lake Kensington Nature Park Open House on Thursday, August 21 from 6-8 p.m. at 208 Republic Drive, Suite A.
At this event, attendees will learn more about the design objectives for Lake Kensington Nature Park and share thoughts and ideas for the space.
This Open House will happen in two parts, starting with a presentation at 6 p.m. where attendees can learn more about the projects origin and goals, how Lake Kensington fits within the Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan, what has already been done, a site overview, and a timeline of the project including next steps followed by a question and answer segment.
The second part will be an informal, come-and-go event where attendees will be able to visit various stations, talk to city staff and consultants, and leave feedback. The stations will focus on Lake Kensington maps, boundaries and relevant statistics; overall vision for the space; nearby neighborhood engagement; parking and connectivity; and identity and design feedback.
These stations also offer multiple ways for residents to record comments and suggestions which will aid the City in making sure Lake Kensington meets the expectations and needs of community members.
