The exhibition includes oil, watercolour and mixed media paintings, capturing the light and story of the valleys, views and vineyards in the region, on Ngunnawal, Ngambri and Yuin country, of South Eastern Australia. This traveling exhibition starts at Rusten House Arts Centre as part of the Arts Trail and then continues to the beautiful Lake George Winery, just off the Federal Highway near Canberra.

Throughout the duration of the exhibition, there will be artist talks and painting demonstrations each Saturday during the exhibition, between 1- 3pm except the final weekend.

Sylvie Carter is a full-time contemporary artist based in rural NSW and recent finalist in the Gallipoli Art Prize 2022. Her style is described as both instinctive and representational, inspired by the impressionists and Dutch Masters. Sylvie grew up in Canberra and later moved to live in the bush and this has instilled in her a deep sense of respect for all nature, its beauty and unpredictability.

It is a scenic 30 minute drive from both Canberra and Goulburn, situated 700m above sea level with cool-climate award-wining wines and stunning family and fine dining restaurant, known as Westering.
