From Rte. 38 in Moravia, head east on Church St. which becomes Skinner Hill Rd., which becomes Filmore Rd. Just past the intersection with Dumplin Rd. on the north side is the Nature Preserve on Filmore Rd., Lick St will be across from the Nature
Preserve. Filmore Road is steep driving up from, and out of, the Village of Moravia. It levels off before the preserve on the left (north of the road).
Attendees will help to establish a pollinator wildflower garden around the perimeter of the public access lot at the Fillmore Nature Preserve.
Wear clothing you don’t mind getting soiled, waterproof and
supportive boots, work gloves, and water to cover your
personal hydration needs. Please bring a shovel, rake, and/or
pitchfork, if you have them.
FYI, there are no bathrooms on site.
