Lake Erie Polish Navy Walleye Tournament & Fish Fry 2022

Tournament festivities at American Legion 695 Cahoon Rd, Westlake 44145. Drop your catch off by 4 pm for measuring and cleaning. Stay or come back for dinner served at 6:30.

TEAMS:

Teams may consist of 2-6 fishermen (all in the same boat).Entry fee will be $35.00 per contestant in each boatBoats will be restricted to contestants only, no guests.

GUESTS:

Guests are welcome to join contestants for dinner festivities.Guest fee is $20.00

TIMEFRAME:

Commences: 6:00 AM, Saturday, June 18th.

Drop your catch off in the parking lot of Cahoon Road American Legion in Westlake, no later than 4:00 PM for measuring, photos, and meal prep. (no exceptions!)

If you catch fish and don't expect to be competitive, please drop off your fish, so we have time to clean and prep them...to feed the group.

MEASURING:

Turn in to the “measure personnel & the staff” your two largest fish per contestant on your team; or (if you don't have enough), turn in all your fish for measuring.Example (2-man Team): 28”, 29.5”, 32”, 24” (4) fish = 113.5” total length 113.5” ÷ 2(men) = 56.75” your scoreExample (3-man Team): 38”, 29.5”, 32”, 24”, 27”, 19” (6) fish = 159.75 total length 159.75 ÷ 3(men) = 53.25 your score Fish length will be rounded to closest 1/8” by the Official Measurer.In the event of a tie, fish will be weighed.

PRIZES: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Monetary awards will depend upon the turnout and 50/50 raffle.

Introducing this year- in addition to monetary awards, a plaque will be awarded to any novice with the biggest fish caught among all who have less than 5yrs fishing experience.

DINNER: The 6:30PM FISH FRY includes the Tasty Fresh Walleye caught by our tournament teams, burgers, brats, fried potatoes, cold slaw, and all the trimmings along with soft drinks and beer. If we can’t fish on the lake, we’re still on…minus the “TFW.” The open bar includes your favorite liquor and a variety of beer of course! Common high touch areas will be sanitized throughout the evening.

RAFFLE: $5 1 Ticket, $15 arm length ticket, $20 wingspan of your choosing

FOUL WEATHER ALTERNATIVE: If the derby is canceled due to bad weather, activities and at the cabin will begin at 4:00 PM. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Prizes will be awarded by drawing.
