Bringing together many of the artists featured on the compilation, this one-night event highlights the depth and diversity of Toronto’s ambient and experimental music community. Across the evening, musicians will perform in unique, one-off collaborations, creating immersive live sets that exist only in the moment.
From deep ambient textures and drones to electroacoustic improvisation and experimental sound design, Lake Effect captures a cross-section of artists inspired by the city. The album reflects both established and emerging voices in Toronto’s quietly evolving soundscape.
