Ten mountain summits. One demanding day in the Lake District.
Are you ready for the Lake District 10 Peak Challenge?
Join qualified Mountain Leader Tony Lowe for a strenuous guided mountain challenge taking in ten of the Lake District's best-known summits, including Scafell Pike, England's highest mountain, and Great Gable.
Starting from Seathwaite in Borrowdale, this circular route covers approximately 20–21km with around 1,600–1,800m of ascent.
This is a serious mountain challenge for experienced hillwalkers with strong fitness, looking to test their endurance across some of the most spectacular mountain terrain in England.
**THE TEN SUMMITS**
Our planned route takes in:
1. Glaramara (783m)
2. Allen Crags (785m)
3. Great End (910m)
4. Ill Crag (935m)
5. Broad Crag (930m)

7. Lingmell (800m)
8. Great Gable (899m)
9. Green Gable (801m)

**WHAT TO EXPECT**
This is not an ordinary guided walk.
Expect:
• A full day of mountain walking, approximately 10–12 hours
• Sustained climbs and steep descents
• Rocky and uneven mountain terrain
• A purposeful group pace
• Spectacular views across the central Lake District when conditions allow
• Professional leadership, navigation and route decisions throughout the day
Tony will manage the route and navigation, allowing you to concentrate on the challenge and the mountain experience.
**WHO IS THIS CHALLENGE FOR?**
The Lake District 10 Peak Challenge is designed for experienced hillwalkers who already have a good level of mountain fitness.
You should be comfortable with long days in the hills, significant ascent and descent, rocky terrain and changeable mountain weather.
