Lake Culpeper (Pelham)

Meet us at the Old Country store in Culpeper ( 18019 Country Store Dr, Culpeper, VA 22701) We will launch our kayaks/SUPs at the boat launch (they also have a kayak launch as well). We will spend a few hours paddling and enjoying nature. After we finish, we can meet back at the Battlefield store for a bite to eat or some sweets.

If you’re looking for an inexpensive place to kayak or canoe, Lake Culpeper (also known as Lake Pelham) is your spot. Watercraft hourly rates start at $5.00 per hour. Daily rates are only $20.00 per day.
Park Hours: Dawn to Dusk
Rental hours of Operation (May – October, weather permitting)
Monday – Saturday – 7:00 am – 7:00 pm (last rental is at 5:30 pm–per sign we saw during our 7/2023 visit)
Sunday 10:00 am – 7:00 pm (last rental is at 5:30 pm –per sign we saw during our 7/2023 visit)
Watercraft (excluding paddle boats) Hourly Rate – $5.00 per hour (calculated in 30 minute increments after the first hour)

Paddle Boats Hourly Rate – $10.00 per hour (calculated in 30 minute increments after the first hour)
