Promptly at 10 AM the Lake Alfred Heritage Festival will begin with a !!BLAST!! from an authentic replica of a M1841 U.S. Army "Mountain Howitzer" Artillery Cannon provided by the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War and the Buffalo Soldiers Florida, Inc, who have joined our Civil War Exhibition this year. ? Don't miss presentations by President Abraham Lincoln and General Edward McCook (see below).
? THE FIRST (100) PEOPLE TO ARRIVE WILL RECEIVE A COMPLIMENTARY SHOPPING BAG to "Take a Little History Home" . . "The Olde' Market Place" will feature quilting, wood working, education and history exhibits, along with unique indoor and outdoor home and garden decor', jewelry, and products by talented craftsmen and vendors.
?"Lake Alfred Junction" (presented by the Florida Frontiersmen) is returning with another authentic display of Pioneer, Cowboy, and Indian Civilizations from the 1800's.
