Laidlaw 2022 Winter Sessions (Ngā Korero o Takurua) will feature Mark Sayers and Laidlaw’s National Principal, Roshan Allpress. Mark’s work is about understanding the context we find ourselves in and identifying the currents that have brought us here. In our moment of rapid change and inescapable need to adapt to a new cultural landscape, this event will provide a space to name some of these key themes and begin a conversation around how we as Christians could respond. Mark will explore how, amid crisis, there is potential for important renewal for the Church. Laidlaw’s National Principal will also present on the historical impact of networks of people working together, grounding that in present day New Zealand culture.

Laidlaw Winter Sessions Ngā Korero o Takurua is an annual event which seeks to explore themes and address concerns that affect Christians throughout Aotearoa in the times we find ourselves in. It is our hope that Winter Sessions leaves the Church encouraged to live our chapter faithfully and hopefully in the story we have been called to participate in.
