(NL) Wereldsterren als Madonna, Rosalía en Angèle klopten bij hen aan. Sinds 2019 leiden Marine Brutti, Jonathan Debrouwer en Arthur Harel als collectief (LA)HORDE het Ballet National de Marseille, waar ze het klassieke ensemble omvormden tot een plek voor experiment en hedendaagse dans. Dit seizoen houdt het trio opnieuw halt in DE SINGEL met Après moi, le déluge.
Die nieuwste creatie begint op een kantelpunt waarop de wereld dreigt te bezwijken. Onder de druk van crisissen en collectieve uitputting zakken lichamen in elkaar, smelten ze weg of vallen uiteen nog voor de voorstelling goed en wel begint. Na Room with a View en Age of Content - beide te zien in DE SINGEL - zoekt (LA)HORDE verder naar manieren om met dans vastgeroeste verhalen open te breken. Ze duiken in alledaagse rituelen en machtsverhoudingen om te begrijpen hoe we voor elkaar zorgen, naar elkaar kijken en wat we aan elkaar doorgeven.
In het universum van (LA)HORDE zijn alle stijlen evenwaardig. Inspiratie halen ze van TikTok over streetstyle tot clubdans aan de rand van de mainstream. Door dans te verbinden met virtuele beeldcultuur ontstaat een hybride performance die tegelijk meesleept en ontregelt.

Following on from Room with a View and Age of Content - both performed at DE SINGEL - (LA)HORDE continues to explore ways of breaking open entrenched narratives through dance. They delve into everyday rituals and power dynamics to understand how we care for, how we observe, and what we pass on to one another.
