Please, join us at Ashland - The Henry Clay Estate (120 Sycamore Rd, Lexington, KY 40502) at 10 am ET for the unveiling of a new historic marker commemorating the bicentennial of Lafayette's visit to Ashland.
The ceremony is expected to last approximately one hour and will include remarks from all stakeholders involved in the installation of this marker, as well as a photo opportunity for attendees following the completion of the remarks. In the absence of Henry, Lafayette was received by Clay's wife, Lucretia, and their children on May 16, 1825.
The event is FREE and open to the public!
