About this Event
Join us for an informative CPD on Sustainable Homes and Future Proofing Developments with Base Energy.
In the context of a changing regulatory landscape and using a project as a case study, this CPD aims to answer a number of questions surrounding sustainable homes and future proofing developments; There is a big push to Decarbonise the national grid, what will this mean for new developments? How can we future proof our properties and design more energy efficient buildings? How is the energy assessor now fundamental to a building project? The Future Homes Standard is just around the corner, what will this mean for developers? How can Part L energy assessments and Part O overheating work together? Seen through on site compliance checks, where are we now? Existing homes are difficult to achieve higher EPC ratings compared to new build, what can we do to improve them? Are these updated good enough, could we go further and aim for more efficient properties?
