About this Event
LAF CPD Club is back from the summer break! Join us for our October CPD Session: Professional Indemnity Insurance by Griffiths & Armour.
This will be a session looking into Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII) and its importance in protecting architectural practices. Not all PII policies are the same, and so having a greater understanding of your professional exposures can help you to ensure that your business is properly insured. Throughout the session will be covering:
- How a typical PI insurance policy operates
- The PI market cycle
- Examples of PI claims made against Architects
- How practices can help to manage and mitigate their exposures
- Issues of the day
- Q&A
Learning Outcomes:
- Understand the purpose and benefits of a Professional Indemnity insurance policy.
- Gain awareness of exposures faced by Architects and typical claims that they face.
- Learn how implementing key strategies can help reduce exposure and manage risks effectively.
