About this Event

Join us for an afternoon workshop on an introduction to ladybirds and their identification. We will have a classroom session followed by a walk around the botanic cottage to see what species we can find (weather permitting!).

Suitable for: Beginners, ages 16+

Tutor: Sarah Adamson, lifelong naturalist and ladybird enthusiast.

What to bring: Suitable outdoor footwear and warm clothing, including waterproofs. Notepad and pen recommended. Spare hand-lenses will be available, but do bring your own if you have one! Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided by TWIC.

Cost: Free – donations to TWIC welcome. Please note that a charge may apply for on-street parking - details of potential charges available on the Edinburgh Council Website.

Booking for this workshop is essential as places will be limited.
