Ladies Tango Workshop – Sunday, May 17with Sol Cerquides
A unique workshop dedicated to followers who wish to deepen their technique, body awareness, and expression in tango.
This session focuses on the body as a fundamental instrument of movement and communication. Through guided exercises and practical application, you will develop a grounded, precise, and expressive dance.
We will explore:
How the spine functions in tango movement
The relationship between torsion and pivot
Balance and stability on the supporting leg
Freedom, sensitivity, and reaction of the free leg
Precision, control, and elegance in movement

🌟 About Sol Cerquides
Sol Cerquides is an internationally renowned Argentine dancer and actress.
She won the Metropolitana Tango Championship (Milonga, 2010) and was a finalist at the Tango World Championship (Tango Pista, 2010).
She has performed with renowned companies and toured internationally across America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania. She is also a sought-after international judge and an award-winning choreographer (2019).
As the founder and artistic director of Tango Oasis, she is also active in film and theatre as a dancer, actress, and choreographer.
