Ladies Who cLit Presents Pleasure, Served: An Evening of Smut, Supper & Self-Care at The Mandrake, London.
A pleasure to meet you, darling - I'm Peaches, your fairy smutmother and c-literary curator at Ladies Who cLit. As part of our debut Smut Reading Retreat, the inimitable Ladies Who Lit are bringing their signature supper club to the intimate surroundings of Yopo Bar & Restaurant at The Mandrake Hotel, London, for a night dedicated to female pleasure, provocative conversation and, of course, our favourite thing: smut.
You'll begin the evening with a drinks reception before settling in for a lavish three-course dinner, surrounded by fellow bookish women who share your appetite for the spicier side of fiction.
But this isn’t your typical dinner party.
Throughout the evening, conversation cards will make their way around the tables, inviting you to explore smut as self-care, female pleasure, desire and the stories that make us feel feral. There’s no formal panel and no awkward pass-the-mic moments — just delicious conversation, unleashed laughter and the freedom to engage as much or as little as you like.
Joining us for the evening will be three fabulous voices in the sexual wellness space: Emma-Louise Boynton, Olivia Petter, and sex therapist Sophie Cohen, who’ll bring their own insights and expertise to the conversation.
