🌸 LADIES TANGO LAB – A WEEKEND FOR WOMEN WHO DANCE TANGO 🌸
This weekend is dedicated to women a LADIES Tango Lab 💃✨
We will not only explore the basics such as ochos, turns (giros), walking, and embrace, but we will also place special emphasis on adornos adapted to both melodic and rhythmic orchestras, always rooted in real social dancing situations at milongas.
We will dive deeply into the role of the follower, exploring the difference between active and passive following, how to make conscious choices in each moment, and how to develop musicality, presence, and personal expression, while staying clearly connected to the lead.
🌟 Guest Maestra
This weekend will be led by Eva Laura Madar, an internationally recognized Argentine tango dancer, choreographer, and maestra.
Trained in Buenos Aires and now based in Toulouse, Eva is known for her elegant technique, strong musicality, and expressive, poetic approach to tango. A graduate of the National University of the Arts (UNA), she has performed at major festivals and stages across Argentina, Europe, and the United States, and is a sought-after teacher and performer worldwide.

Explore the flowing, circular quality of tango vals. We’ll work on smooth transitions, musical timing, and dynamic sacadas that fit naturally into social dancing — elegant, continuous, and connected.

Apply technique in the embrace. Work on structured turns, elegant lápices, and expressive embellishments while maintaining control, clarity, and connection.

Build strong foundations for turns: axis control, clean pivots, and fluid transitions. Develop balance and confidence for smooth, powerful giros in social tango.
Discover how to interpret piano accents and melodic details through refined adornos, pauses, and subtle musical expression.
🕟 16:30–17:45 Sequences with Boleos & Ganchos (Couple Lesson) – Beginner/Intermediate
Learn dynamic yet social-friendly sequences that incorporate boleos and ganchos with clarity and control.
We’ll focus on clean technique, safe execution, and smooth integration into the embrace — so these expressive movements feel natural and comfortable on the dance floor.
