Ladies in Fellowship Together Prayer Breakfast

Ladies, joins us for our 15th Annual Ladies in Fellowship Together (LIFT) Prayer Breakfast at City Church of Sacramento. Check-in begins at 8:30 AM, and the program will start promptly at 9:00 AM.

This year, our theme is Beholding Our True Home, inspired by the words of Jesus in John 14:23: Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.

Join us as we reflect on what it means to live as women whose true home is found in Christ—abiding in His presence, walking in obedience, and welcoming Him to dwell in every part of our lives.

This year's keynote speaker is Genelle Prayer Smith, LCSW, Executive Director, Wellspring Women’s Center.

Genelle Prayer Smith is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 27 years of experience serving the Sacramento community. She joined Wellspring Women’s Center in 2009 and became Executive Director in 2017. She also teaches part-time in the School of Social Work at California State University, Sacramento.

Genelle’s middle name, Prayer, reflects the foundation of her life and leadership, a faithful relationship to God. She believes that staying connected to God calls us back to love, again and again, as a practice of healing and liberation. Her work centers the empowerment and well-being of women, cultivating spaces of belonging, dignity, and transformation.

As an act of social justice, Genelle served as an Associate Producer on the documentary The Right to Exist. She is also trained in Art and Expressive Therapy and facilitates the Art of Being Program at Wellspring, supporting women in creative and embodied healing.
