Ladies First is all about bass music, well served by radiant and fierce women behind the decks. Created by Mira Mark, active in the booth since 2012, and dreaming about expanding the scene with more girls to the spotlight. Ladies First is a bass music movement, with full spectrum from dubstep to drum & bass, garage to footwork, with base in Oslo (Norway). Launching in early 2024, and hopefully as the years go by will enlarge the bass music nightlife and bring more dedicated ladies to the collective. Bring on the bassface!

Yuna Meskalin:
Bouncing over the mountains of Bergen, Yuna brings her distinct sound to the music as her connection runs deep into drum & bass. Being a raver for over a decade, she’s finally behind the decks, eager to deliver juicy vibes to the crowd and channel the infectious energy of the music.
Taken under the wings of Dnb Society concept in Bergen, she promotes and advocate for drum & bass music, and has made herself a prominent name in the city.
Yuna finds profound satisfaction in seeing the dance floor come alive to the sound of proper drum & bass. Having already performed in numerous Bergen venues such as Pappa, Landmark, Stereo, USF Verftet, Opera and Cornerteateret, she will have her debut at Ladies First, as well as warming up for the legendary Chase & Status in Bergen two weeks before.

Nora Vind:
Rapper and songwriter Nora Vind from Kirkenes has quickly made a name for herself on the Norwegian hiphop scene with her unique style and presence. Nora is known for her music that combines hard-hitting beats and humorous lyrics, seamlessly switching between genres such as boombap, trap, DNB and techno. In 2023, she released the singles ‘Knyttnæve’ and ‘Lojalitet’.
Now, she is in the spotlight with her latest release, ‘Big Dick Energy’. Ladies First is fortunate to have Nora as MC this time and she will be rapping to the DJ sets throughout the night.

Mira Mark:
Coming up as a raver on the Oslo underground club scene, Mira picked up the decks and moved from the dancefloor to the booth in 2012. In the years since, she has made a name for herself on the dnb scene in record time, fuelled by heavy ambition and a deep love for the genre. She has been gigging in cities from Berlin, Ibiza, Manchester to St. Petersburg, playing at festivals like Fusion, Sonar, Outlook, HotHotHot!, Midnight Sun and Solar. Been supporting acts like Fabio & Grooverider, Chase & Status, Dillinja, Calyx & Teebee, Noisia, DJ SS, MC GQ, Marcus Intalex, Jubei, DRS, Calibre and Tony Anthem. Alongside gigging abroad, she is founder of Ladies First - Bass Music Movement, and was resident in ROOM 101 and Viking Junglist Massive in Norway. From 2014 to 2015, she had her own weekly dnb radio show called "On.My.Mark" at DNBHeaven. Her musical style was based in liquid funk, but as she matured her sound got deeper and darker. A rugged viking, and a proper junglist through and through!
