Join us for a night of community & connection!

Learn how to make Lactation Bites with Kaye (Tender Fern Doula & Kitchen) and meet Edwina a Pr*son Doula with OPBP

We will co-create the bites together, talk about Pr*son birth, Ostara Initiative, and what you can do to help! The goal of this event is to raise awareness and donate nutritious bites to people in Pr*son.

What to bring? Please bring any amount of these ingredients. We will create them together.

• Nut butter
• Parchment paper

The Oregon Pr*son Birth Project (OPBP) works inside a women's Pr*son to provide trauma-informed support to pregnant and postpartum people in custody. Nationally, 58% of incarcerated women are mothers and 4-5% are pregnant when they enter Pr*son.

These lactation bites will be brought to the weekly support groups within the Pr*son to nourish new parents.
