LACONI Recharge Library Tour Series: Harold Washington Library Center

Join the LACONI Recharge Section for a tour of the Harold Washington Library Center (400 S. State Street, Chicago, IL 60605). Meet the staff and learn about the history, architecture and design of the library as well as discuss the issues associated with those aspects.

Meet other library workers while experiencing the ins and outs of a library that may be new to you. A library after hours social will follow at a nearby bar/restaurant.

Please make sure to meet in the main lobby by 2:55pm since the tour will start promptly at 3. The tour will take approximately an hour, giving us 30 minutes for a followup Q&A. Street parking is available, but may be limited so we recommend taking public transportation, using spot hero, or paying for a spot in a nearby garage.
