Lackawanna County Recovery Walk & Celebration

Join us for the Lackawanna County Celebration & Walk on Sunday, Sept. 13, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Nay Aug Park in Scranton, and help us celebrate recovery! THIS EVENT IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Registration will begin at 11 a.m., followed by the Recovery Walk at noon, and a Celebration of Recovery immediately following with dozens of exhibitors and fun for the whole family, including a bounce house, face painter, balloon artist, and stilt walker. Free Naloxone and training on how to use it will also be available. The event is being held in coordination with National Recovery Month. Special thanks the Lackawanna-Susquehanna Office of Drug & Alcohol Programs, The Recovery Bank, and the City of Scranton Recreation Authority for organizing and hosting the event, and a big thanks to Sean Bingham for providing the food.
