LACE Network is here to give students across the region tailored, practical apprenticeship support, connections, and insight to help you walk into this application season prepared, confident, and ahead of the curve.

Thinking about an apprenticeship but not sure where to start? This 2 hour evening event is designed to give summer holiday students practical insight, real advice, and hands on support to help you take the first step into your career.

What to expect: Live Apprentice Panel Q&A Kick things off by hearing directly from current apprentices about their experiences, the highs, the challenges, and everything in between. This is your chance to ask real questions and get honest, first hand answers about what apprenticeship life is actually like.

CV Workshop & Apprenticeship Overview Get hands on support to build and refine your CV, with practical tips on what employers are really looking for. We’ll also walk you through how apprenticeships work, the different routes available, and how to find the right opportunity for you.

Evening of Networking & Collaboration: Wrap up the evening by connecting with current apprentices and industry professionals from Weightmans. Ask questions, make connections, and get a feel for the workplace culture, all in a relaxed, informal setting.
