Lace and Literature is a monthly Sapphic book club where we celebrate LGBTQ+ historic fiction that inspires, empowers, and captivates!
Monthly Last Thursday 6:30-8:30pm
2026 Third Quarter Book selection:
July 30th: A Sweet Sting of Salt by Rose Sutherland - queer reimagining of the classic folktale The Selkie Wife.
August 20th: (date change!) The Color Purple by Alice Walker - An exploration of resilience, love, and liberation through the life of an African American woman in the early 20th-century South.
September 24th: Last Night at the Telegraph Club by Malinda Lo - Set in 1950s San Francisco, a Chinese American teenager grapples with identity, love, and societal expectations in the hidden world of a lesbian bar.
Free event with suggested donation $5.
