LAC Young People's Opportunity Forum

The Legal Action Center's No Health = No Justice Initiative is hosting a Young People’s Opportunity forum in partnership with Voices for a Second Chance.

The goal of this forum and community conversation is to hear from young people, employers, nonprofits, educators, and other community stakeholders about how to effectively prioritize employment opportunities for young people (ages 16–34) in the District and connect them to interventions and support programs that address underlying challenges—before a crisis or arrest occurs.

We believe successful outcomes depend on young people having a meaningful voice in identifying and shaping the services they need. Our goal is to center young people’s voices throughout this conversation.

Community members ages 16–34 who participate will receive a $50 Visa gift card in appreciation of their time and contributions.
