The event will bring together leaders from across local, regional, and national politics in celebration of equality and diversity.
Please note due to demand, this event is ticketed, with a waiting list and first come first served queuing operation on the door.
With the new Government's focus on diversity, the event will bring together community leaders from various sectors and political leaders, providing opportunities for networking and hearing from keynote speakers.
Other speakers include Labour Councillor, Fatima Kamara, Sefton MP and former Shadow Minister for Business, Bill Esterston MP and CEO of 50:50 Parliament, Lyanne Nicholl.
With opportunities for networking and hearing from keynote speakers, the importance of regional, demographic and socioeconomic diversity of our country will be championed, with speakers highlighting the opportunities for diversity, inclusion and equality at the heart of our communities. We are pleased to be supported by SME4 Labour and the 1987 Committee to host this important event:
- Small Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) for Labour (SME4Labour), provides a forum whereby SMEs can work in partnership with the Labour Party and continue to inform their economic policies. SME4Labour seeks to strengthen relations between the small, medium, micro, owner and family run businesses with the Labour Party, supporting constructive and informed discussion within the Labour movement on issues impacting on SMEs
- The 1987 Committee is a community group of Black Labour Party members and activists, united by our commitment to advancing our shared goals. With a focus on empowerment, representation, and community engagement. Named after the year when the first Black and Asian MPs were elected to Parliament, the committee plays a crucial role in promoting diversity, equality, and representation within the party and the broader political landscape.
