2026 Labor 101 Citizen & Candidate AcademyThe Sacramento Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO invites community members and candidates seeking office to our Labor 101 Citizen & Candidate Academy. This training is designed to introduce participants to the labor movement, working people’s priorities, and the policies that shape our region.
This academy is a valuable opportunity for candidates to learn directly from our union affiliates, gain insight into the issues impacting working families, and understand the role of the Sacramento Labor Council in building a strong and equitable economy.
Mandatory for Candidates Seeking Sac CLC Endorsement
All candidates requesting endorsement from the Sacramento Central Labor Council must attend a Labor 101 Academy.
