Labgnostic User Group 2022 (formerly NPEx)

Welcome back to our Labgnostic (formerly NPEx) users.

The event will be centred around you, our customers. Few groups have felt the impact of the pandemic in the UK more than NHS labs and, as we all start to rear our heads from the pressure of COVID-19, we are ready to take a look back at the progress, challenges, and changes of the last three years while looking towards the future for labs and the Labgnostic service.

From COVID-19 pressures, onboarding all unconnected English NHS labs, and operating a key part of the Test and Trace Service to ending the partnership with The Health Informatics Service (THIS) and transitioning the operation and provision of the NPEx service to solely X-Lab, moving over to a new brand and an improved product and technical infrastructure, we are excited to continue adding value to the Labgnostic service for our customers and continually improve how we do so.

Through an all-day conference-style event, we will offer workshops, feedback sessions, presentations, and case studies that give you the opportunity to contribute, learn, network, and hold us accountable across a number of themed streams. We will cover many of the changes of the last few years; offer you opportunities to meet our new team members and some familiar faces; learn about ongoing schemes of work; review how we are improving the technology behind the service; partake in discovery workshops; discover how we are growing the product from a business perspective; engage in retrospective sessions covering your Cloud-migration; and learn about new areas of focus like Information Security.

A lot has changed since we last met and a few years of ambitious growth for the service, alongside COVID-19, has provided us with plenty of learnings and opportunities for improvement in how to deliver and maintain the Labgnostic service and we hope this event will form a key part of that ethos and add value for you.
