Lab Skills Night: Purifying Protein

To help work around busy schedules, two nights a month we offer a hands-on learning experience focused on one specific technique.

This class is on protein isolation! How do we work with proteins? Why do we extract them from cells? How can we measure how much protein we have and how successful we have been? Join us to learn two techniques: protein purification and protein quantitation!

This will be an immersive hands-on class. Additional material will be available to help understand concepts and basic biology of this technique and applications, and this is a great intro for beginners!
