Presented in partnership with ILA's creative community program, Lab Rats - Matthe Adey (House of Vnholy) joins us for an artist talk discussing the theme of aesthetic meaning in design and art. -------------------------------
Tues, September 24th
LAB RATS x HOUSE OF VNHOLY: ARTIST TALK
From production design to sculpture, House of Vnholy will talk about the creation of visual aesthetics as a tool to the production of visceral meaning. Through the use of space, object and light, House of Vnholy’s Matthew Adey will walk through processes and tools in which he uses to generate a visual aesthetic across different mediums of stage, event and installation.
Having worked across the industry on diverse projects such as RISING Festival, Dark Mofo, Boiler Room, Illuminate Adelaide and more, this session offers fantastic insight into an artist and creative mind who has successfully built a national profile whilst still calling Tarndanya home.
This workshop will explore methods in response to space, sculpting with light and the process of reduction as ways to generate a visual language.
