Each year, LAB Theater puts out a call for short comedic scripts for our annual fundraising event, LAB Laughs. This year we received 139 scripts from all over the world and we paired it down to 9 scripts, with three from Florida (one local), one from Australia, one from New Zealand, and the remaining scripts from the lower 48 of the U.S.
Join us June 9 thru 12 for four nights only either in-person or livestream to laugh till your sides hurt as you watch: two tortoises explore who is the better lover, two best friends wrestle with the idea that their parents are dating and so they may become siblings, an older couple tries to understand emoji's, a Florida man understands signage, a father and son have a truly odd conversation, two unlikely people take shelter together from torrential rains and find comfort in an unusual place, Clark finally seeks therapy before leaping from a tall building, two young woman evaluate did they or didn't they take out the lady across the street, and a couple wrestle with childhood things and when to put them aside.
All of this is contained in LAB Laughs 2022! We promise you'll laugh, you may need tissues for tears of laughter. We are not responsible if your sides split during the show, you were warned.
