The pilot project of Music Lab - regular jam sessions connecting musicians not only from Brno. The goal is to play, improve, find new contacts, and most of all to have fun! Every musician who joins a performance will get 150Kč for free on the bar!!
Vienna born London based saxophonist Guido Spannocchi has come to critical acclaim through his delicate tone and unique approach which combines jazz vocabulary and a heritage of upbringing with classical compositions. His output of original music on his own label have secured him sold out shows from Ronnie Scott's across the US to Senegal, from Vogue Tokyo Fashion week through Brazil, Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa and Europe to the London Jazz Festival, if not on tour Spannocchi runs various regular nights in the British Metropolis.
The album is Spannocchi's most daring, serene and intimate work to date presenting an entirely new sound without drums yet never shy of grooves.
The music combines idioms of jazz, contemporary chamber music and elements of exotica yet stays fresh and afar from clichés or tropes presenting a new soundscape and element of solace in our hectic world.

"Kammermusik" is Spannocchi's first new studio album in five years after his seminal success with "Perihelion" in 2021. With "Kammermusik" (chamber music) Spannocchi explores his childhood growing up in Vienna surrounded by classical music and shows how his professional life in the British metropolis London makes its mark with a modern cosmopolitan sound informed by his experiences and impressions of extensive touring and embracing the sound of the world.
"Kammermusik" feautres long term collaborator and cellist Danny Keane (Grammy nominated composer and sideman of Anoushka Shankar, Mulatu Astatke e.a.) as well as Andea Di Biase on bass (Kenny Wheeler's sideman) and London Philharmonia solo percussionist James Larter on vibraphone and tubular bells.
