La Rumba No Para, a salsa love story about growing in San Francisco, premieres November 8-10 at ODC Bway Theater. This self directed and produced evening-length multimedia dance theater production pays homage to my community, family, and dance roots.
Featuring original composed music by Asdru Sierra @asdrusierra from Ozomatli with live special musical guest Elena de Troya @elena_de_troya3 (La Misa Negra), rap artist Uva Uvv, Poppin legend Prince Ali @princealifreez , and salsa dancer/choreographer Michael Gonzalez @michael_g_insta , and friends from the Bay Area Salsa/Mambo dance community.
