Maghreb, where the sun sets; where the history of so many people and nations is intertwined with the harshness of the desert and the lush green mountains and plains. A history reflected in a rich musical heritage that combines the Arab, Amazigh, and Spanish influences found in Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco and Tunisia in concert.Some of the Maghreb’s favourite tunes brought to life by the CAO’s Mohammed Ben Khedda in a performance not to be missed. This program is part of the Local Concert Series.
