La Plume Anglaise - June meet-up

Join us for our next in-person event to explore the theme of MOTHERHOOD!

Whether you choose to write a personal account or something more fictional, we’ll share our writing and explore our interpretations of the prompt together in a safe, non-judgemental and supportive space. We encourage all attendees to submit something they've written themselves a few days in advance, but no pressure! If you prefer, you can submit/bring along a piece by another author for us to discuss.

Every month, we host an in-person meet-up in Paris. Every meet-up will have a different writing prompt and attendees who have signed up to the event are invited to submit an original piece of writing for discussion related to this prompt. Submissions will be circulated to other attendees to read a few days in advance of the event. We encourage all attendees to submit something they've written themselves, but no pressure! If you prefer, you can submit a piece by another author for us to discuss.

Written submissions should be no more than 1000 words. A few examples of forms we welcome are below (this is by no means an exhaustive list - be as creative as you like!):

• Essay
• Play
