La Petite École | Open House

We warmly invite prospective families to visit La Petite École, a small, community-based preschool where children feel known, cared for, and excited to learn — with natural French language exposure woven gently into everyday life.

This Open House is an opportunity to:

• visit the school and experience the space,
• meet our leadership and educators,
• learn more about our approach to early learning, and
• see whether La Petite École feels like the right environment for your child and family.

There is no pressure - just conversation, curiosity, and connection.

Families often choose La Petite École for:

• caring, long-standing educators,
• a small, warm learning community, and
• French language exposure through play, songs, stories, and daily routines (no prior French required).

As one parent shared:
“My child loves going to LPE. The staff are very caring and supportive, and her confidence and language have grown so much.”

Under the leadership of Chloé, who was part of La Petite École’s early years and has returned as Supervisor after gaining additional experience and her ECE certification, the program continues to feel deeply relational while growing richer in its learning experiences and family connection.

As the early childhood education landscape in Ontario evolves, many families are navigating long waitlists, while others are choosing private programs intentionally - often seeking specific enrichment (like French), smaller group sizes, continuity of educators, and a strong sense of community.

La Petite École is moving toward a relationship-based admissions process, designed to give families the time and space to explore whether the school feels like the right fit for their child.

This Open House is often the first step in that process.

• Families with children under 4 years old
• Families exploring enrollment this year or in the future, or summer camps
• Families curious about a small, caring, French-enriched preschool experience

Children are welcome and encouraged to attend with their parents.

If you’re unable to attend this Open House, additional tours and family conversations will be offered for families considering 2026 enrollment
