La Pachangosa is a folk-based Latin fusion band based in the Musqueam territory, otherwise known as Vancouver. The group plays amped up Mexican musical idioms like Son Jarocho, Mariachi-Rock, Huapango, Marimba Chiapaneca, as well as Colombian inspired Cumbia and Vallenato. The lineup includes instruments like jarana, trombone, trumpet, violin, guitar, bass, drums, pandero, congas, timbales, and marimba.
