LA on the Move Exhibition Walkthrough & Milkweed Giveaway

On Saturday, April 18, join and collaborators , , and for an exhibition walkthrough of LA on the Move followed by a milkweed plant giveaway provided by Arroyo & Foothills Conservancy.
This special Earth Month program in LA Union Station’s Waiting Room Gallery is an opportunity to meet the exhibition collaborators and learn about how people and wildlife travel through shared landscapes across Los Angeles County following paths that intersect and overlap. Produced with the Data Vandals—an art team known for transforming data into captivating visual stories—this exhibition illustrates the importance of creating sustainable pathways for animals and insects alike. After the walkthrough, join Arroyos & Foothills Conservancy to learn more about the region’s biodiversity and the role that urban species such as monarch butterflies and milkweed, a pivotal plant that is integral to monarch migration, play in maintaining balance. A native to nearly all of California’s ecoregions, milkweed is a powerful way to support our LA environment while caring for one of our most beloved travelers: monarch butterflies!
